About NCS School Review Services

The NCS approach to school review

NCS has developed a distinctive approach to school review informed by a Strategic Thinking Framework, some Propositions about School Improvement, and a School Capacity Diagnosis model. The three elements provide a coherent structure for a high value school review. Combined, the elements provide a review that contributes to school strategic and operational planning by focusing on strategic thinking and making challenging recommendations tailored to each school’s context and capacity.

  2. To make a measurable contribution to each school’s development of strategic and operational plans.
  3. To contribute to improved outcomes for all students in learning, engagement and wellbeing, and pathways and transitions.
